What's New in 5.3.5

  • Unlocking gets you in. With the biometric lock on, Forager could ask for your fingerprint and then send you to the sign-in screen anyway. Unlocking now picks up your current session, and when your session has already timed out (8 hours after you sign in, or 2 hours unused), Forager goes straight to sign-in instead of asking for your fingerprint first.
  • Offline work stays put. When your session ends on the lock screen, including with Sign in instead, anything you captured offline stays on the phone and uploads after you sign back in. If someone else signs in, the phone is cleared first, so nobody sees or uploads another person's work.

Installation Instructions

Before you start: Since this APK is sideloaded, you'll need to allow installs from unknown sources for your browser or file manager.
  1. Enable Unknown Sources Settings → Security → Install unknown apps → allow for your browser.
  2. Download the APK Tap the Download button above. Your browser will save it to Downloads.
  3. Install Forager Open your Downloads folder and tap the APK file to install.
  4. Grant Permissions Location and Bluetooth are required for RF discovery. Camera is optional for QR scanning.
  5. Sign in or Accept Invite Use your account credentials or paste your invite code on the login screen.
Ready to go. After setup, open the app, select a location, and start confirming assets immediately.

Accept an Invite

  1. Install Forager Use the APK above.
  2. Open the app → "Accept Invite" You'll find this option on the login screen.
  3. Paste your invite code It's in your invite email next to "Your Invite Code".

  • Wi-Fi radio for signal detection
  • Bluetooth for BLE scanning
  • GPS / Location services: optional but improves first-pass location accuracy when available
  • Camera (optional, for QR / barcode scanning)
