Survey in 30 days.
Your location data is wrong.

You already know this. Half the devices on your inventory aren't where the record says they are, and there isn't time left to fix that the way anyone would want to: install RTLS, run a wall-to-wall physical count, hire it out to a firm with a six-week engagement. Here's what's actually available to you right now.

For a survey six weeks out, RTLS was never actually on the table; nobody installs readers and beacons in that window. The real choice in front of you is between a spreadsheet, a temp agency, and three people walking the building with clipboards, and something that can be live before the surveyor's plane lands.

What you're actually competing with.

Manual reconciliation

A walked list is stale the moment an asset changes rooms. Temp staff and overtime cost real money for a one-time pass, and the record decays again before the next cycle. There's no timestamp, no attribution, and nothing to hand a surveyor who asks who verified what and when. Forager replaces the walk with the work your techs already do: every confirmation becomes a permanent, timestamped, attributed record, so the next cycle starts from real data instead of zero.

RTLS

The right long-term answer once a facility has the budget and runway for infrastructure: $30 to $80 per device per year, plus $100,000+ before a single device is tracked. It is not a six-week answer. Forager is the option that can actually be live before your deadline: no readers, no AP survey, no beacon hardware.

The actual schedule

1
Day 1: Create your organization, build the location hierarchy, invite your field tech accounts. No hardware purchases, no AP survey, no network changes.
2
Day 2: Upload floor plans. Techs walk the first floor with Survey Mode: 2 to 3 hours per floor.
3
Day 3: First floor live. Presence Confirmation is the daily workflow from here: open the app, scan a barcode, done. Confirmed, timestamped records start flowing the same day.
4
The rest of your building: Same day-1-to-day-3 pattern, floor by floor, on your schedule. Full breakdown on the quickstart page.

Forager never touches your corporate network.

It runs over cellular or guest Wi-Fi on the phone already in your tech's pocket. No VPN. No MDM enrollment. No access points. No beacons. No network integration. There is nothing to install on your infrastructure, because Forager doesn't live there.

That changes what a review is about. There's no network architecture to assess, no endpoint agent to certify, no firewall exception to justify. What's left is a data question: what Forager collects, where it's stored, and who can see it. We've already answered it. Device identifiers are hashed before storage, asset tag photos are cropped on the handset before upload, Row-Level Security enforces tenant isolation, and a BAA is available.

A data review, not an infrastructure review. The security review that usually stalls a fast timeline isn't a blocker here. Security & Trust →
